Sarah Daly: freelance writer and museum curator

Based in northern France and working across the UK and in France, I specialise in researching and writing accessible interpretation, curating exhibitions, website editing, digital projects  and copy writing. 

 

I am also an experienced fundraiser, securing £100,000 for Linking Natural Science Collections in Wales, which I later project managed for the Welsh Museums Federation.

 I am a qualified curator and I've worked with national bodies, subject specialist networks, national, independent and local authority museums, as well as many other heritage organisations. 

 

I've written for a number of national, regional and local publications, including The Guardian, Museums Journal,  French Property News, The Good Life France, Mountain PassionsThe Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Review and The Green Parent.

 

I've also worked on a number of digital projects, creating online resources for Digital Pathways, the Welsh Museums Federation and the Social History Curators Group resource, firstBASE.
